The pictures above are from a few years ago The pictures below are from the 2009 Rendezvous We had beautiful weather for the 2009 Rendezvous. Went out to Chip Lake to harvest rat root on the Saturday. Kelly and Randy showed some how to work with the GPS and people went out to locate the caches I had hidden for them from the GPS co-ordinates given for the caches. Brian McBride commented about the hidden caches "Lori is either brilliant or certifiable." Guess that means I did a great job in the hiding of the caches lol. Ben did a couple sessions making copper roses. There were a lot of people banging and beating on the copper, then heating, then more bending until some really nice roses came into being. Great session and very well received. Thanks Ben. There were some rousing campfire discussions, stories of the "old days" along with some really good jokes. Some new faces appeared along with the regular crew. Robert topped it off with his trade blanket of goodies. |

Rat Root Rendezvous 2010 This year's Rat Root Rendezvous is scheduled for August 27, 28 and 29, 2010. If you wish to do a session, please feel free. If you would like us to post it on this page, give us a call in advance so I can do so. I believe Ben said something about black powder guns for this year, hmmm, hope I am remembering that correctly. I am also sure that if you need help with your GPS, Kelly or Randy would also be willing to talk about it with you. If you need information on a particular subject I am sure there will be someone who would know and willing to help. Around the Rendezvous those who know share. Trade blanket items are most welcome. Your own food and accommodations still apply with camping available at Randy and Lori's. There will be no invitations sent out but if you need information, please contact Karamat Wilderness Ways.
